FENIX SK-10 SU KES

It is an acrylic emulsion based, ready-to-use, elastic waterproofing material that can be applied easily on all types of floors.

Interior and exterior of all buildings; especially in wet areas such as balcony, bathroom, WC and kitchen. It is applied underneath the ceramic. It is used as an insulation material on exterior, underneath the paint and coatings.

Surface needs to be cleaned of materials that are anti-adhesive such as dust and oil.
Surface needs to be dry, clean, and durable.
Important deformities or holes on surface should be fixed at least 24 hours ago with Fenix
Repairing Mortar before “Fenix SK-10 Su Kes” application.

Not applicable on drinking water stocks.

Time to gain mechanic strength: 7 days.
Time to wait between layers: 6 hours minimum.
Time needed for fully drying: 48 hours.
Application thickness: 1-1,5 mm.

“Fenix SK-10 Su Kes Primer” should be mixed with %40 water.
It should be stirred properly until it becomes homogeneous and then it should be applied to the surface.
After coat of primer dries up, “Fenix SK-10 Su Kes” should be applied
for at least 2 layers with pelt roller and brush.
Thin cracks, connection points, corners and edges should be supported with
polyester felt after the first layer coating application
Second layer should be applied vertically to the first one after it dries up.
It should be waited 6 hours between layers.
Specified durations are valid in a surface and environment temperature of 20°C, on low temperatures durations will be longer,
on high temperatures durations will be shorter.

Environment temperature: between +5 °C and +30 °C
It should not be applied in humid air or under direct sunlight.
It should not be applied to surfaces that under frost hazard within 24 hours,
frozen and melting.
Salty water is not applicable.
Foreign materials are definitely not applicable.
Used tools should be cleaned with water after application.
