• Time required to apply plaster on the adhered insulation board: 2 days
• Surface needs to be dry, clean, and durable.
• Multi porous surfaces should be wetted and waited until the water layer is gone so that the surface remains moist.
• Important deformities or holes on surface should be fixed at least 24 hours ago with Fenix Repairing Mortar before Fenix Styrofoam Adhesive application.
Not applicable on unstable and low resistance surfaces.
Surface and Environment temperature: between +5 °C and +30 °C.
It should not be applied to surfaces that under frost hazard within 24 hours, frozen and melting
It should not be applied under hot weather conditions, areas that under direct sunlight or hot surfaces.
Insulation plates should be placed close to each other. The gaps between the plates should be less to prevent heat transfer.
Approximately 6 liters of water and 25 kg of Fenix Styrofoam Adhesive should be mixed thoroughly, preferably with a low-speed mixer or trowel so that there are no lumps.
Prepared mortar should be rested for 10 minutes before use.
Fenix Styrofoam Adhesive should be applied all around, taking care to leave 5 mm from the edges, surrounding the insulation board.
It should be applied 3 big points of Fenix Styrofoam Adhesive in the middle of the area.
Toothed trowel can be used if the jacketing area is proper.
It should be covered with %40 of adhesive to insulation plate.
It should not be overfilled with adhesive to joints so as not to act as a conductor.
Depending on the weather conditions, Fenix Styrofoam Flaster can be applied to the insulation boards adhered with Fenix Styrofoam Adhesive after 2 days.
Identified durations are valid in 20 °C floor or environment temperatures, in low temperatures duration will be longer, in high temperatures duration will be shorter.
