FFenix Grout Mortar is used in steel structures, prefabricated structures, machine and crane mounting bases, foundation sockets, production of curtain and column heads, fixing steel columns to the foundation, which require high strength subject to dynamic effects.
Indoors and outdoors;
• Cement based screed,
• Concrete floor,
• Prefabricated concrete .
• It can be used up to 30 minutes.
• Applying thickness: 10 mm - 70 mm
• Time should be waited between layers: 3 hours
• Fully curing duration: 24 hours
• Area can be open for traffic after 24 hours.
• Surface needs to be dry, clean, and durable. Any anti-adhesive particles should be purified.
• Application form should be cleaned properly. It should be stable and leak-proof.
• If application will be done on old concrete; surface should be humidified before application.
Items needed for the application should be prepared considering working time.
• Environment temperature: between +5 °C and +30 °C
• It should not be applied in strong winds or areas that under direct sunlight
• It should not be applied to surfaces that under frost hazard within 24 hours, frozen and melting
Approximately 3,75-4,25 liters of clean water and 25 kg of Fenix Grout Mortar should be
mixed thoroughly, preferably with a low-speed mixer for apprx. 3-4 minutes until mixture gets
homogeneous. Water should be added to hardening mortar.
Mixture should be rested for 2 minutes before usage.
Fluid Fenix Grout Mortar should be poured uninterruptedly from one side of the previously prepared mold, thus preventing air entrapment in the mixture.
After application tools should be washed clean while they are freshly used.
Identified durations are valid in 20 °C floor or environment temperatures, in low temperatures duration will be longer, in high temperatures duration will be shorter.
