Can be used on ceramic, tiles, and similar coating materials. For indoor surfaces it can be applied to floors and walls and for outdoor surfaces it can be applied to floors.
• It can’t be applied on;
• metal surfaces
• surfaces that are heavy traffic zones. (Industrial Zones etc...)
• prefabricated and floor heated zones.
• boarded floors, painted surfaces, swimming pools and already tiled zones
• concrete walls, gypsum plaster, plasterboard, and drywalls.
• It can be used up to 4 hours.
• It can be worked up to 25 minutes.
• It can be retouched in 20 minutes.
• Joint can be applied after 24 hours.
• Area can be open for traffic after 24 hours.
• It should be applied around 3-10 mm thickness. (Single- or double-sided bounding).
• While application, surface and environment temperature must be between +5 °C and +35°C.
• It must not to be applied to surfaces that are frozen, melting or frost hazard in 24 hours.
• It must not to be applied under direct sunlight, strong wind and hot surfaces.
• Care should be taken that the application does not form a film on the surface, the film should be reviewed.
The surface should be clean, dry, smooth and solid, and the coatings thinner than 3mm on the surface should be scraped and clean for you.Very porous surfaces should be wetted and the surface should be kept moist until the water layer disappears. Significant defects or holes on the surface should be repaired with Decant repair mortar at least 24 hours before the application of Fenix Premium Flex.
• Approximately 6.75-7.25 liters of water and 25 kg of Fenix ceramic adhesive mortar should be mixed thoroughly, preferably with a low-speed mixer or trowel so that there are no lumps.
• After 5 minutes of resting, prepared mortar should be mixed again for 1-2 minutes before use.
• Mortar should be applied on surface and its thickness should be adjusted with toothed steel trowel.Size of the tooth of trowel should be defined by the size of ceramic and smoothness of application area.
•For ceramics of the following dimensions, mortar should be applied to both application area and back of the ceramic. (Double-sided paste).
a) Indoors, floor applications: ceramics bigger than 1100 cm²
b) Indoors, wall applications: ceramics bigger than 500 cm²
c) For all outdoor floor applications, air must be expelled by applying force with the help of a rubber hammer for good adhesion. In applications, the weight of the coatings is as important as the size.
