It is applied on fresh concrete surfaces where mechanical abrasion resistance is required and dust-free.
Indoors and outdoors;
• Stores,
• Workshops,
• Parking areas
• Service Stations
• Car wash areas
• Supermarkets,
• Workplaces.
• The carrier concrete of the area where Fenix surface hardener will be applied must be at least C25 class.
• Fresh concrete should not be adjusted with steel trowel or glazed with tray glaze, it should be adjusted with wooden trowel.
• Environment temperature: between +5 °C and +30 °C
• It should not be applied in strong winds, hot weathers or areas that under direct sunlight.
• It should not be applied to surfaces that under frost hazard within 24 hours, frozen and melting.
Fenix Cure Material should be applied to surface to not losing its surface water faster than wanted. Water should not be added to material while application.
Carrier concrete should be waited until it gets hard enough to walk on it. When stepped on it, footprint should be between 0,5-1,5 thickness.
Fenix surface hardener bags should be lined up on the edges of the gauges according to gauge width and consumption amounts.
Fenix Floor Hardener is distributed over the entire surface by the sprinkling method.
Materials should not be left as lumps. They should be homogeneous as they can. In addition, scattering should not be done at long distances so that the aggregates in the product do not decompose.
This process can be done with hand or special sprinkling equipment.
The sprinkled material should be expected to change color by absorbing the water from the concrete. Fenix Surface Hardener, which is sprinkled homogeneously and changes color by absorbing water, is compressed and integrated with the concrete.
Then the blade is polished and this process is continued until the desired brightness is achieved
Identified durations are valid in 20 °C floor or environment temperatures, in low temperatures duration will be longer, in high temperatures duration will be shorter.
