Can be used in grouting of ceramics, tiles and similar coating materials wider than 6mm.
• Areas effected by high pressure (>100 Bar) and does not apply to hygiene, exposed to chemicals.
• Swimming pools,
• Deformable areas such as floor heated tiles.
• It can be used up to an hour.
• Fully hardening duration is 12 hours
• Area can be open for traffic after 24 - 48 hours.
• Environment temperature: between +5 °C and +35 °C
• It should not be applied to surfaces that under frost hazard within 24 hours, frozen and melting.
• It should not be applied in strong winds, areas that under direct sunlight or hot surfaces.
For homogeneous drying, joint gaps should be excavated via thin stick and it should be cleaned with a brush from dust, sawdust and such as cement debris.Joint gaps should be humidified before application specifically on walls.
• Approximately 5.6-6.6 liters of water and 20 kg of Fenix Grout should be mixed thoroughly, preferably with a low-speed mixer or trowel so that there are no lumps.
• After 10 minutes of resting, Fenix Grout should be mixed again for 1-2 minutes before use.
• Mortar should be applied on joint gaps with rubber tipped mop or joint spreading trowel with hard rubber base
• In order to fill the gaps properly, it should be drawn first parallel and then diagonally.
• The excess of the mortar on the surface should be scraped off with a soft-tipped spatula or dampened sponge-tipped spatula, waited for 15-30 minutes depending on the environment temperature, then wiped with a damp sponge, and the thin joint layer that may remain on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned.
• In order to be highly aged, the application area should be revised daily.
• All tools used after the application should be washed with water before drying.
• Soaking the ceramics in water before application should be avoided, as it may cause yellowing in white and light-colored joint fillers.
• Gloves should be worn to prevent staining of hands in colored grouting applications.
• In order not to damage the colored joint fillers; bleach, lime remover etc. cleaning products should be avoided.
